Joseph is a native of northern New Jersey. Joseph’s practice focuses on business and commercial law and litigation, creditors’ rights and bankruptcy. Prior to joining Nolan Heller Kauffman, Joseph worked in the fintech banking industry analyzing regulatory and compliance issues at Cross River Bank. Joseph also developed substantive bankruptcy knowledge working at Selendy Gay Elsberg PLLC on complex Chapter 11 restructurings involving foreign-based multinational entities. Joseph graduated from Columbia University as a John Jay Scholar, and from Fordham University School of Law, where he was a member of the Fordham Corporate Law Journal. Most recently, Joseph obtained his LLM in bankruptcy law from St. John’s University School of Law where he was awarded the Robert M. Zinman scholarship.

Joseph is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys exploring the forests of Upstate New York. He is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
