Jon is an Albany native. His legal practice is focused primarily on corporate transactional assistance and guidance. He also provides guidance and counsel in the areas of data security/privacy law and commercial real estate. With over 20 years of experience, both in-house and in private practice, Jon has represented a broad array of clients, large and small, in a diverse range of industries, including asset management and private equity. Jon assists clients in transaction structuring, and the assessment of appropriate risk-mitigation strategies for today’s challenging legal and regulatory environment. Jon works closely with clients in all phases of the company life-cycle; from choice of entity at formation stage, to negotiation of day-to-day contracts during mid-life, through the ultimate exit strategy.

Jon is a committed advocate to the local indigent client community, providing regular pro bono legal representation to clients in the Capital Region through the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York.

In his free time, Jon can usually be found out on his bike, or out hiking a mountain in the high peaks of Adirondacks.
